China’s fastest computer

The “Magic Cube”, China’s first home-made supercomputer with a capability of over 100 trillion computing operations per second, arrived in Shanghai Frieday and will be put into operation in June. In the latest ranking of world supercomputers, “Magic Cube” came out first in Asia, 10th in the world as its peak speed stand at 230 trillion computing operations per second. China now becomes the 2nd country following the U.S. to make such a supercomputer.
